Festoon systems are used to electrify various types of mobile equipment. They can be designed not only to support and protect flat and round electrical cables, but air and water hoses as well. Need help assembling the festoon system? Systems can be pre-assembled at the factory to ease installation and reduce time.

Festoon systems are typically used on overhead cranes, port cranes, refuse cranes and other material handling applications.

Our Flat Festoon Cable has been specifically designed for use in festoon systems for power and control on crane and hoists. Electric Cables can also be used where extreme flexing is a requirement, recommended bend radius of three to five times cable diameter. Our Flat Festoon Cables are suitable for either indoor or outdoor applications operating at -40° C to 105° C.

GUNATIT Hose Festoon Systems guide electrical power cables (as flat and round cables) and hoses for gaseous and liquid media to movable devices. The cable festoon systems are guided in tracks (profiled tracks, square or I-shaped profile).

All tracks can be bent in accordance with the track layout under consideration of the minimum bending radius and the cable loop depths. Naturally, we manufacture our cable festoon systems in accordance with VDE regulations.
